Surviving emotional pain

When does it occur?
Usually emotional pain is experienced by an individual due to loss or separation of loved one,unexpected misery,sudden unacceptable change in financial or personal life.

Surviving Emotional pain

It's just an illusion - Don't believe all of your negative thinking, such as blaming yourself or expecting to fail. This thinking is part of depression. These thoughts will go away as your depression lifts.

Forgive yourself
- If something has happened because of your mistake you must know its OK to make mistakes and everyone does that.Forgive yourself.Remember all mistakes are fixable. Learn from the mistake, forgive yourself and get on with living.

It's natural - Acknowledge the fact that everyone who lives in this world has gone through emotional pain at some point in life.

Write - If you have a habit of writing a diary try to put down your emotions in words.When you do that you can get an idea of how you feel.

Enjoy - Try doing a physical activity such a swimming,cycling or play your favorite game.It helps to ease of your pain.

Share - If you have a really good friend try to share your grief with them.

Express your emotion - If you feel like crying then do that.Crying is the natural pain killer of your body.

Don't take decisions - Avoid making big life decisions when you're depressed.You will not be able to think clearly because of chemical changes in your brain. If you must make a big decision, ask someone you trust to help you.

The last thing is time.There is no better medicine to cure emotional pain.As time goes everything changes.Life is waiting for you.Move on...
